Holidays are the time for holiday trim, lights and bling. This year it also seemed to be the time for cone shaped trees. From J.Crew to Bebe we saw them bedazzled to light up - all close in shape and consistency. They are a rather simple addition to capture the holiday feel. What trend did you see this holiday?

Club Monaco Holiday Windows
The holidays have come and gone but we still think these Club Monaco windows were fetching enough to talk about.
Keeping their chair rail from fall, they added just a few elements for holiday. With lights, a few vintage props, and wrapped boxes, this window has a nice homey feeling. As seen with other retailers this holiday, this is great example of to how make a holiday window successful with just a few simple additions.

Holiday Windows @ Van Cleef & Arpels
The latest holiday windows at Van Cleef & Arpels are definitely ones to check out in person. Though small, the level of detail in each presentation window is full of impact. Add the motion of the rotating rear screen and it brings a stage presence to the display. We could barely take these photos - everyone else was checking them out too!

The Gap is Stringing Us Along...
The Gaps windows are bright, colorful and graphic this holiday! With tree silhouettes in lights, tape, and gift cards these layered windows, filled with wrapped boxes tied with bright colored yarn, have a young urban feel about them. We love the tactile quality when you look at yarn up close and the yarn letters. Simple materials in a modern way!
