Covering up the details at Restoration Hardware
It's obvious that a book case "shows" better with books in it, however, covering the books in a monochromatic fabric that is tea stained to appear aged, keeps the focus on the furniture and not the props.
This neutral and yet textural prop used throughout the store to highlight furniture and accessories is a great compliment to the palette of the store and a nice balance to the green of the topiaries.

Razzle Dazzle!

we couldn't have said it better!
We like to say, "it's all in the details" and in this case, the details speak volumes.
When you want to highlight something small and potentially messy, like tights or hosiery, present it in something to keep it organized and catch consumer's attention, like these trays.
And nothing let's people take notice like a little bling. So think about all the "little" things when you want BIG results.

Pedestal Rising!

Here are some examples of risers and pedestals that help highlight product and give height to window displays. The corrugated 'seat' for the mannequin is interesting as well as purposeful and each of these serve a different need but all speak to the idea that pedestrians notice what is at eye level more than objects on the floor. So vary the height of your window and get your product noticed. Go ahead - put yourself on a pedestal!
