Blackhawks Mohawk and other excitement

As most of you know, our HQ is based in Evanston, IL so the Chicago Blackhawks win last night in game 6 of the Stanley Cup was BIG news.

Company President, Courtney Wright's children were so inspired by the excitement that they decided to decorate the office lobby with their own hand crafted Stanley cup replica. Looks like visual merchandising will continue to run in the family. The youngest Robert, even went so far as to cut his hair into a mohawk to support the local team.

Go Hawks (and go VM!!)

Ideas that travel....

This one is worth revisiting. It is a window that Moschino did back in the fall of 2009 and it's meant to give the viewer the sense that clothing and fashion are fleeting and on the move.

The gypsy wagon, an iconic symbol of 'the wanderer' has many references but done here in a spare, modern way, it is the perfect wardrobe on wheels for the woman on the go.

The bright colors, the cohesion with the marketing image and the layout of the window make this one a winner worth noting.
