You've got Mail!

Mail some love to your loved ones this Valentine's Day - that seems to be the message at Tiffany & Co!
Red lined envelopes and painted mailboxes set a great backdrop for this "postal" theme.
A wonderful example of a little prop goes a long way!

Paper flowers for Spring

A 3D element is always a welcome addition to windows and helps bring marketing to life. This window is highlighting some new products that one would assume smell like flowers and these paper representations really tie up the whole idea nicely.
A little effort goes a long way!

Garlands Galore!

ah, the signs of spring are emerging! Seen here are two different interpretations on a theme.
One is a glorious use of plastic...trash. Cut up plastic bottles and discarded refuse strung to make a colorful presentation that once again highlights Anthropologie's mastery of making "something out of nothing".
The other is a more feminine version seen at Aerie (in the new Time Square 3 story American Eagle store) which uses fabric flowers to create garlands in colors and styles that highlight their spring campaign. It's fun, flirty and retro and adds a great texture to the store.
Go see them both and keep an eye out for more signs of warm weather!

Q are you?

To highlight their theme of renewal, this Texas based lighting and fan company redid its showroom in a bounty of butterflies. This blue winged menagerie lends an air of elegance to the entrance and throughout the rooms and helps tie back to their theme.
Bravo this abundance of blue!

All Taped up in Tokyo

LOVE this installation in the Kate Spade store in Japan done by American artist Rebecca Ward. Using gaffer's tape, she has created a color blocked grid of lines and intersecting shapes that add a wonderful back drop for this fun and whimsical product line.

Happy New Year!

Shine on 2010 and off to a glittery start at RL!
Love this festive & wintry display to harken in the New Year - the snow adds a nice touch.
