Madison Collection at Coach is Flat!

To promote their Madison line, Coach adorned the walls of their windows with over sized flat sketches and cardboard cutouts in black and white to highlight this new collection.
The layered illustrated cut outs help the bags take center stage and the window does an excellent job of elevating an otherwise simple presentation.

Rombola causes a ruckus at Bergdorf's

Illustrator John Rombola was adding drama to the windows of Bergdorf Goodman's while promoting the launch of his new book, 'Ecclectic Eccentric' (aptly named).

The large scale drawings were used in various ways to highlight the 2010 Fall collection and are worth a trip to 5th Avenue to peek.

but if you can't get there, see here. http://blog.bergdorfgoodman.com/

Louis Vuitton keeps an eye on the Eiffel Tower

Louis Vuitton, the lovely French fashion house, uses whimsy to convey it's message of luxury. Seen here at The Somerset Collection in Troy, Michigan, this window pays homage to it's roots with an Eiffel Tower made out of white boxes that have been drawn on to mimic the luggage collection details. Coupled with the bold use of yellow, this window really pops and shows off it's product in an unusually fun way.

A timely window as well, as this Wednesday is Bastille Day..."Viva la France"!!
